These do say 2 and up! May 01, 2005
By S. Maldonado I bought these for my two year old for her birthday. She loves them! The whole point is for them not to roll easily. Obviously these would be a bad choice for anyone searching professional quality skates. They are a perfect choice for your toddler. (They are the same skates as the Little People ones, I bought these since they have matching helmet and pads available!)

'First Skates' is right Sep 07, 2005
By Diane Baldwin The skates are great for now. Just know they don't fit past a 12. They are kind-of difficult to get the childs shoe in, even at size 11 1/2. But my Granddaughter is having a ball now. For First Skates they 'fit the bill'. I'll just be looking for another pair soon.

Perfect for my 3 year old Dec 13, 2005

My daughter recieved these skates as a gift for her 3rd birthday. What a delight!! She loves them. She is not able to use them alone for very long (I hold her hand) but she enjoys them all the same. They go on over her shoe and fit very snug. You can move the wheels and lock them so they dont send her flying across the floor when she hits a smooth surface.. We usually take her on the side walk and they work very well on it..Great present!!!

Good for the money Jan 20, 2006
By M. Alsop I bought these skates for my almost 3 yr old who wants to be like her big sister. The skates are good overall. They are easy enough to put on and take off. The padding inside is nice. The only drawback I can find is the the adjustment lever that keeps the wheels from rolling on setting 1 changes by itself to setting 2 which lets the wheels roll. I am not sure if I just got a bad pair or if this happens with all of these kinds of skates. I will keep them but it does get to be a hassle to have to keep putting them on the correct setting.

Good beginners skates. Feb 27, 2006

The skates were a real hit with my daughter. The only negative I have to relate is that the weight restriction for the skates should be stated with the shoe size requirements. My daughter weighs more than the 44 pounds listed, but I could not take them away from her as soon as she opend the box to use them for the first time.
