Made of sturdy plastic without sharp edges, this well-designed toy offers a lot to do for both my 2-year-old and my 5-year-old. Easy access to all of the different moving parts (2 conveyor belts, an incinerator trap, a crane with a grappling hook, a dump basket, trash sorter, etc.) makes it a zero-frustration toy for my little one. It also comes with figures (Buzz, 3 aliens, the new Lotso bear) and a bulldozer. Doesn't topple. It commanded and sustained their attention from the very first moment. This toy is a winner.

 Very good idea, BUT the scoop on the outside won't stay on Aug 02, 2010

We have almost every Imaginext set made. With that said, the orange scoop on the side of this one, just won't stay on. We've actually rubberbanded it on to make it work properly and that is working great, but it's not that pleasing to the eye. Other than, that it's great, but I wanted to let potential buyers know about this problem.

My 4 yr old son who has been obsessed with trash trucks for years absolutely loves this toy. It is very sturdy and has survived being dropped down the stairs and off the couch many times. This toy really gets his imagination going- so many fun scenarios with dumping trash and sending it down the conveyor belt into the furnace. Highly recommend this toy for any little guy who loves trash and trash trucks.

I gave this to my nephew for his 4th birthday, and it was a huge hit! Any Toy Story fan would love this set, as it is big, has many moving parts, and is durable!

I have 3 boys ages 5(almost 6), 4(almost 5) and 1. The 5 & 4 year old play with this and the batcave version of this toy all the time. I love to see them use their imaginations and this toy allows for creative use of imagination. The 4 year old got this for Christmas and they both have been enjoying it. The 5 year old got the batcave for his birthday last year and they combine the two playsets and really let their imaginations flow.
