I purchased this to go along with the Toy Story garbage truck, but these were too big. My nephew still

Chunk's face changes expression, but not easily Dec 15, 2011

I bought a ton of Toy Story stuff for my son, and it's gotten a lot of play. This pack is not among the best, though, and when we asked my 3yo son to consider some of this toys to give away he identified these (though I kept them). I bought this set mainly to have a small, durable Lotso to weave into our play storylines, and for that it sufficed. I'd already bought larger and much nicer versions of Sparks (with extendable arms) and Chunk (whose face not only changes expression easily via a button, but he's also posable). I do like that even this mini Chunk can change expressions from "mean"/"mad" to "nice"/"happy" by rolling his face with your thumb, but it's too difficult for a young child to do, and even I don't like being asked to help with this action. My son likes to use Big Chunk and Little Chunk together, as father and son, and similarly with Sparks, so that turned out to be the best use for them for us. Little Sparks is the most disappointing, as you can't move any part of him. At least Lotso's arms can move a little. All seem relatively durable, except I worry that Chunk's face stickers will peel off soon.

Usually, imaginext toys are awesome. Although they aren't as articulated or detailed as the superior "mega bloks" toys, I can count on imaginext for making very durable toys that have at least one or two points of articulation. Unfortunately, out of the 3 toy story characters included in this set, only the huggy bear toy can move his arms. That's it. I got it hoping my kid could incorporate the rock guy and the little robot into his playtime with other imaginext figures, but they serve as mere fodder for the other toys that can actually move their arms, legs, heads, etc. Every imaginext super friends, dinosaur, and ninja toy I've gotten has been a real success, but this package of three toys - only one of which (the weakest looking one, no less) can move at his shoulder joint and thats it was a let-down. What's really frustrating is that when you look at the packaging of this toy, they show the rock guy holding his arms in different positions, like WTF!!!

My grandson loves Toy Story and anything associated with it. I purchased this set of 4 inch figures and he loves them. He is a collector of everything and especially loves his Toy Story collection. Great quality for the price. Also purchased another set with Woody, Rex, Jessie, and Buzz in it. Great quality.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son because he loves Toy Story 3. He loves to play with them, and even takes a bath with them. This was a very good purchase, and these toys are very durable.
