Great value for your money! May 11, 2010

Remember when you where younger and couldn't afford expensive lego sets? I do. That's why when I found this on here for about [...] I thought "Prince of Persia; Lego; AND a castle like set? YES PLEASE!" The set is definitely worth the money. The walls can come off both the front gates and the balcony set up and can be arranged to suit your needs. I currently have one wall detached from the balcony set up and with the wonderful joint pieces it makes for a larger looking, less closed in set. Other facets you may want to know about are the fact that the Prince has a double-sided face (angry and smirky) which is great! It comes with seven figures in all, all of which are great additions to any collection. many of the figures have both their chest and back prepainted with a design. And lastly of note, the walls have those really awesome pieces for figures to appear as though they are running on the wall!
All in all, if you like the prince of persia games, this is definitely a set to get.

Great Gift Oct 12, 2010
By TMcGhee I got this as a gift for my 9 year old nephew and he was very excited when he saw the package. I don't know a thing about Lego's or this particular line, but my sister just told me what he was hoping to get for his birthday. I looked at other sites and this one offered the best selection at the most reasonable price. It's hard to rate the quality since I didn't open it, but it gets an A+ for "wow" factor. My nephew's eyes were as big as saucers when he saw it.

Unique eastern-style castle Jul 07, 2011
By mrchange PoP Battle of Alamut set is for all castle lovers. With the newly introduced nougat colored bricks, this middle-easten castle is unlike other castles released by Lego earlier under the Castle theme. A lot of details e.g. plants, window railings for this castle. In addition, the grey, white and nougat colored bricks for the walls and pillars are very well co-ordinated. For those who would like a change from western-style to eastern-style castles, this set is for you! Another plus point, no stickers at all!
PS: For the PoP theme, my order of preference from most to least preferred set is: Battle of Alamut (7573), Fight for the Dagger (7571), The Ostrich Race (7570), Desert Attack Set (7569), Quest Against Time (7572).
