My three year old son absolutely loved this trunk! We recently went out of town on a trip and used this to take his outfit and toys. If you buy the tote that goes with it, it will fit in one side and the toys and such will fit in the other. We fit his travel games and small toys we wouldn't care to lose, be it he leave it at the hotel. Everything fit perfectly and he loved that he could lock his trunk. Also, riding was a blast for him! He loved that I could pull him along for a ride. I would say this is a very adorable and multi-functional product. If you did not want to pack toys then you could easily just use it for packing clothes only. I even was able to fit his beach towel behind the insert-able tote.

I loved the look and concept of this suitcase but it's not practical if one wants it for a suitcase during travels; it's too flimsy to carry much of anything and to keep closed properly. It is however a fun toy and nice to have in airports so kids can sit on it and roll it around. I needed a relatively sturdy suitcase for travelling with my children so I regret the purchase.

Our boys were so excited when these cases arrived just before our big trip to Europe. They scooted all around the house on them, and were also enthusiastic to pack their treasures for themselves. On the aircraft, they fit easily under the seat in front of us, or in the overhead storage area.
The only thing I'm not so excited about is the latches on the side. My husband and I both found them difficult to use, and determine if they were locked on unlocked. But I would say the fact that the children love them so much greatly outweighs that negative.
