 we love Thomas AND wooden puzzles! Sep 22, 2011

It's nice to have wooden puzzles in a storage box, and this was a perfect level for my daughter. She also loves Thomas. She does these every day over and over. However, after buying this online I saw a similar product with an additional puzzle sold at Toys R Us. Also, after a few weeks of heavy use, the pieces are looser and the image gets a little dog-eared at the edges. Another wooden puzzle we have--12 piece puzzles Melissa and Doug brand--has held up much better.

I was soooooooooooooo disappointed in this puzzle! I have a 2-year-old who loves puzzles and anything with Thomas on it, so I got this for him. It states on the description "Set of 3 Wood Puzzles", and the image clearly shows a box that also says "real wood puzzles". Instead, they are cardboard, and a fairly thin one at that. I am tempted to send everything back, but it would probably not be worth the hassle. Very discouraged and disappointed with Amazon! I'll be more careful from now on, getting my son's toys in person. I can't help but feel scammed, though.

Overall .. its a puzzle .. whats there to complain about, 2nd of all of course its educational, its a puzzle, lastly to fill my 20 words, DO NOT STEP ON or THROW or DROP this, anyhow The Female Cup where the lid slides into the wood ( where its narrowest) cracked off and i had to predrill a hole and 2 finishing nails with glue in between attatch the piece that cracked off... now respectfully there is nothing you can do it's wood you just need to take care of your item. i fixed it all is well. 4 star with or without the crack/split.

My 3 year old son loves Thomas the Train... & he loves puzzles...
The puzzle is kind of easy for him, but he loves that he can do it buy himself... He never gets board of his puzzles...
