First of all, I had been looking everywhere for a Rex replica from the Toy Story movies. Sure, there are several 'versions' of Rex available but I have yet to find a replica from the one that appears in the movie (size and all) as there are replicas available of other characters (like Buzz or Woody for example)
When we found this one in Amazon we thought we had finally found it! After receiving it and opening it I can confirm the figure is highly detailed and well made and it really does justice to the character from the movie, this would be perfect but for one small problem: the size! it is actually a very small toy!
Yeah, pictures can be deceiving sometimes so I have added some pictures I took as a reference to the product description page in Amazon. It is indeed a deluxe figure and it's great as a collector item but not as a toy. We ended up getting a stuffed Rex that while not what we would have liked to give to our kid, it is larger sized than this one and more appropriate for a 3 year old.
As a collector item it does look great on the shelf next to the toy story movies!

Wish I had paid more attention. I thought this was the 18" Rex, it's about 5" and a piece of crap. Not worth the $$ AT ALL. I feel like a holiday shopper that got hoodwinked, grant you I should have paid closer attention, but I suspect there will be a lot of other shoppers with the same complaint.

Call it my fault, but the picture advertised for this seems so much bigger than the ACTUAL size of the item. The picture makes it seem like a 12" toy, but in fact it's more like a 6" toy. Lesson learned in that I will make sure to check the "size dimensions" of any item before purchasing & not assume that the picture I see on the site reflects the size of what I believe the item to be.

My two year old loved it. He watches the movie and plays with it every time. Great "replica" but of course limited movement, only the head turns but the kids love it nevertheless. Great size also for my two year old.

Its really good toy.
I would say its more collectible than a toy.
(I kept it as a collectible figure).
It looks very realistic.
I wouldnt offer it as a toy.
