Great Helmet, lousy pads Jul 13, 2010

"Mother of a preschooler and twin toddlers"
My three year old has a very large head, so we ended up purchasing the "child" sized helmet after discovering the "toddler" size was too small. Thus you may want to measure your child's head to ensure you get the right size. The helmet is very well made and easy to safely secure on my son's head. It's been played with roughly without cracking or becoming discolored. I'm very happy with the helmet. The pads, on the other hand, are not well made and I wouldn't use them. That said, the helmet is still worth the price and the pads are fun to play with.

I think this was a good purchase. There is only one set of pads. I read the info wrong and thought there were elbow AND knee pads. It states elbow OR knee pads.

Although my grandson is only 3 years old, I bought him the child size helmet because all the reviews I read said the Toddler size doesn't fit the 3 year old's heads. This is just the right size for my grandson. Also, has his 2 favorite Toy Story characters on it- Buzz and Woody!

Great helmet, my son runs around with it on all day. The pads, I haven't even messed with yet so I am not sure about their quality.

It took some time to adjust the hamlet, but after that it was all good. I like the peace of mind that gives me knowing that it's protecting my boy while he is enjoying his bicycle.
