I am so glad that this cd/book combo was released. Some of the shorter story books with Toy Story characters have been just okay. This retelling of the first movie hits the mark and my grandson wants to listen to it over and over. The book is well done and it is easy for children to follow along in the while listening to the cd. It occurred to me after listening to this cd many times that the issues introduced in "Toy Story" regarding jealousy and loyalty are really well done and a good spring board for discussion with children. To Infinity and Beyond!!!!

Bought this so my son can listen to it in the car. The narrator sounds really sleepy, and the whole thing is really short. It's really cool that they have short clips from the movie. My son really loves it and listens to it over and over again. Because it's so short, you could hear it about 5-6 times on a short car ride doing errands. For adults the repetition can get pretty irritating.

my son listens to the cd every night. good combo pack, but the front cover rips really easily due to the cd flap.
